Flight Operations Manager
|
Qualifications and Work Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation industry.
-
At least three (3) years of experience in Flight Operations, including flight planning and dispatch.
-
In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, including QCAA and EASA standards.
-
Holder of a valid Flight Dispatcher License or equivalent certification.
-
Proven experience in updating operations manuals and managing documentation.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and statistical data analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Ensuring the effective operation and efficient administration of all Flight Operations.
-
Liaising with the Aircraft Support Services Unit on matters related to aircraft maintenance and defect rectification.
-
Managing aircraft availability, ensuring all aircraft are suitably equipped and documentation is current and complete.
-
Overseeing the flying programme, including adjustments during adverse weather conditions.
-
Ensuring Flying Orders are disseminated, read, and formally acknowledged.
-
Supporting aircraft incidents/occurrences and maintaining updated contact details.
-
Ensuring smooth exchange of operational information between ATC and AOC.
-
Scheduling operations staff to ensure continuous desk coverage.
-
Administering operational documents including NOTAMs, METARs, TAFs, weather warnings, VVIP movements, and military restrictions.
-
Coordinating with ATC for navigation aid (beacon) bookings.
-
Developing and maintaining flying and engineering statistics.
-
Ensuring aircraft are secured when not in use.
-
Ensuring aircraft refueling as required.
-
Ensuring completion of aircraft Technical Logs and Authorization Sheets.
-
Preparing and disseminating the daily flying programme.
-
Updating and maintaining flight planning materials, including Jeppesen charts.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
|
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (relevant field).
- 2. Holder of a current EASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License – Category B1.2 covering at least three of the following aircraft types: DA42, DA40, PA28, PA34.
- 3. Holders of a current B1.2 ICAO Type II License issued by an ICAO contracting state may be considered, provided the license is acceptable to the State of Qatar.
Experience Requirements:
- 1. Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a type-rated licensed engineer within a general aviation environment.
- 2. At least four (4) years of recent experience in a certifying capacity on three or more of the following aircraft types: DA42, DA40, PA28, PA34.
- 3. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory position within a Part 145 approved maintenance organization.
- 4. In-depth knowledge of Diamond aircraft types is required.
- 5. Diamond Part 147 type training will be considered an added advantage.

MPL Instructor
|
- 1. Hold or have held professional pilot license acceptable to QCAA
- 2. an Airline Pilot Jet experience (A-320 type rated)
- 3. Fluency in English (minimum ICAO Level4)
- 4. Hold a minimum of 1500 hours in a Multi Crew operational environment.
- 5. Have 1000 hours on aircraft above 20,000 kg.
- 6. Experience in the delivery of MPL related phase Training
- 7. Completed MPL instructor training Course
- 8. Completed Initial CRM course

|

Simulator Maintenance and Operations Manager

Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Have experience in the certification processes of FSTDs and training facilities.

A knowledge of authorities’ requirements and EASA regulations and understanding FSTD standards and regulations.

Minimum 10 years substantial experience in the maintenance, running of a simulator training center, including procurement of devices.

At least 3 years’ experience in managerial position in the FSTD maintenance management.

Theoretical Knowledge Instructor

Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field or equivalent.

At least 5 years of teaching experience in ATPL level or equivalent military aviation related subjects.

Possess relevant flight ops knowledge gained through pilot, flight engineer, dispatch, flight navigator qualification and experience or relevant military experience.

Have undergone an initial course of instruction on Methods of Instruction/Train the Trainer of at least 30 hrs. duration.

Competent to deliver a minimum of three of the ATPL subjects.

Should, before appointment, prove their competency by giving a demonstration lecture based on material they have developed for the subjects they are to teach.

Should be able to take on the responsibilities of SME of at least 2 ATPL subjects within 2 years of instructional duties in PTD QAA.

Holder of CPL/ATPL license or a certificate of having passed the ATPL Theoretical Knowledge subjects will be an added advantage.

Experience in MPL training would be an added advantage.

Flight Dispatch Instructor
|
The Flight Dispatch Instructor in the Airport Operations Department is responsible for delivering ICAO-compliant training in accordance with ICAO Doc 10106 and QCAA regulations. The role includes classroom teaching, assessment, mentoring, and participation in the development of training materials tailored for operational needs. Subject matter expertise, communication skills, and familiarity with international flight dispatch standards are essential.
Minimum qualifications and experience required:

The English Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students in the aviation academy, with a particular focus on English for Aviation, technical communication, and academic English skills. The role involves preparing students to meet the English language proficiency requirements of aviation regulatory bodies (e.g., ICAO standards) and ensuring they can communicate effectively in both academic and professional aviation contexts.
The instructor will design lessons, prepare course materials, assess student progress, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining academic standards in line with the academy’s quality assurance and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver English language instruction (General English, English for Aviation, and Academic English) in line with curriculum standards.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to aviation-related contexts.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Support students in achieving required ICAO Language Proficiency Levels and academic readiness.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English (General Language), Aviation Courses, TESOL, or a related field (essential).
- Master’s degree in TESOL, English Education, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Recognized teaching qualifications such as CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or equivalent (essential).

Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of English language teaching experience in higher education, technical education, or aviation-related programs.
- Experience in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP), particularly English for Aviation (preferred).
- Proven track record in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment design.
- Experience with international English language proficiency standards (e.g., ICAO, IELTS, TOEFL, CEFR).
- Familiarity with blended learning approaches, digital teaching tools, and interactive learning platforms.
- Previous experience in an aviation academy, airline training centre, or technical institute is an advantage.
